The Olympic Green Convention Centre is a new convention centre located in
the Olympic Green in Beijing. It was designed by RMJM and is currently
under construction for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It will cover an area
of 270,000 square metres. It is one of the principal buildings of the
Olympic Green. The convention centre will serve as the competition spot for Fencing , the Shooting and Fencing disciplines of the Modern Pentathlon, as well as the International Broadcast Centre and the Main Press Centre. As the top class convention and exhibition centre, it will heighten the level of Beijing's facilities of holding conventions and exhibitions after the Games. |
